The heart of the FREEDOM eGEN system is a dedicated lithium ion battery bank that gives you the freedom to run virtually any jobsite load, including compressors and power tools, for a significant amount of time, simultaneously. The Xantrex lithium ion battery offers twice the capacity in the same physical size of a traditional battery and lasts 6-8X longer. A dedicated battery bank for tools, equipment and other hotel loads reduces stress on the ignition battery and extends its service life. The lithium battery is constantly replenished via multiple sources: truck alternator, inverter charger when plugged-in, and even solar panels. The addition of solar extends battery life and even boosts available power from the battery.
